TDI has provided Fluid Viscous Dampers on over 30 semiconductor fabrication plants in Taiwan for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC).

The production of semiconductors is sensitive to vibrations, and even the smallest movements can halt production, costing the owner millions of dollars. To protect the process, dampers have been used in many of the fabrication plants to dissipate seismic energy and reduce vibrations.
